Have you ever needed to create a QR code for a marketing campaign, event, or just to share a link easily? If so, you've probably encountered the same frustration I did: most QR code generators either require expensive subscriptions, limit your usage, or make your codes expire after a certain time. I built teag.me with a simple philosophy: provide a free, straightforward service that just works. How It Works

Under the hood, teag.me is built with modern web technologies: - Next.js 15 with App Router for the frontend and API - Vercel for hosting and serverless functions - PostgresSQL for database and storing data - QR code generation using node-qrcode - Tailwind CSS for styling

When you create a new shortened URL or QR code: 1. The system generates a unique, short identifier 2. Your original URL is stored securely in the database 3. A QR code is generated pointing to the shortened URL 4. Each scan is tracked with basic analytics (timestamp, user agent, etc.)

Looking Forward

Most importantly, the core service will always remain free. My goal is to prove that you don't need to charge subscriptions for basic web utilities that should be accessible to everyone.
